Bernie Dana brings a diverse portfolio of experiences as an Advisory Board member of the Coryell Collaborate Group. His business career spans 48 years and two retirements. Bernie and his wife Susie moved from Omaha, NE to Springfield in 2001 when he joined the Business faculty at Evangel University (EU) and served for 17 years. He served on 3 university governance groups, four committees, and chaired EU’s Quality Improvement Team. Prior to joining the faculty, Bernie had served for 16 years on the EU Board of Trustees. After a 6-month retirement, he became the Chief Operating Officer of Pure & Clean, LLC based in Nixa in January 2019.
His professional career also includes three years in the U.S. Army, He was the recipient of the 1996 EU Distinguished Alumnus Award; 2014 EU Clark Award for Excellence in Teaching, Scholarship, and Service; Springfield Business Journal’s 2015 Men of the Year Award; and 2016 EU Professor Emeritus.
